Founded by Gayle, Richmond and Lauren Punch, The Punch Family Foundation was organized in 2006. It formed after Gayle Punch realized her annual benefit recital which help offset her children’s music education expenses, could be used to help other music students.
Mission: In addition we will give a young musician a foundation that nutures and teach.
Vision:
The Punch family hopes to bring the gift of music to a new generation.
The Foundations income is a grassroots effort
The Foundations proceeds are in a grassroots stage. One note at a time we reach the community in Dallas and outside of Texas. Many of our supporters helped Richmond Punch in his journey to become a musician. Most are supporters of the arts or just want to help.
Our donors are on fixed incomes, as well as major supporters of the arts and serve on boards and foundations that support’s the Performing Arts. Our donors want the performing arts to be inclusive. We received on the same day a note of support and a $1000.00 donation and a note with a promise to send $15.00 a month to support our efforts. We have introduced giving to a new community. We have also relied on volunteers to support our goals.The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees and is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
